Ever find yourself stuck in a rut?
You know, the place where you feel stalled and action-less?
You want to get results but you know you have to DO the work first to get results.
However…you feel like you need the results first before anyone will listen to you or you can get motivated! If that’s how you’re feeling…you’re not alone. I’ve been there many times!
But since everyone gets into ruts, what differentiates people is how quickly they recognize they’re in one, and take action to get out of it.
I want to share with you something I learned that I like to call…‘The Have, Do, Be, Reverse’.
It’s a mental hack that has allowed me to hack into some personal motivation so that I can get all the things done that I know I need to do in my business and life. This will help you get out of your rut and back into action mode which is where you need to be if you want to get results.
The Be, Do, Have, mindset hack to take you from stuck in a rut to action mode
Okay, let’s talk about what the Have, Do, Be, Reverse is, and how it can help you get unstuck in your business and life. Here’s the problem and where most people get stuck.
Most people think they need to have what they seek in order to be happy or successful.
For example, they think they need to have the money, success, time freedom, a successful business, be great on camera, or anything else they want first to be happy.
But here’s the thing you want to think about.
That is completely backward.
I’ll give you an example, let’s say you have to be an influencer on Youtube.
Here’s the order in which that will manifest itself.
1️⃣ Be Influential 2️⃣ Doing Youtube videos 3️⃣ To have success
So basically the having can’t come before the doing.
And here’s where you hack your brain so you don’t get stuck in a rut
Now that you know the order in which success happens here’s how you need to think until you have your desired outcome.
You want to train your brain to think, “Hey, I’m influential, or I’m happy doing this.”
You don’t need the outcome you’re after before you’re happy. You determine how you feel when your taking action on something that you know needs to be done to get you results.
Something to really ponder and think about, right? You sabotage your success by thinking that you need to have before you do.
This is how people get stuck in a rut.
Get into action and start doing the things you need to do you get your desired outcome.
And the cool thing is, when we’re aware that sometimes we do this to ourselves, we can actually fix it.
Stuck in a rut – In Closing
Having what you want is a side effect of first being it and then doing it.
Not the reverse. When you’re focused on only the things you want to have and the fact that you may not have them ‘yet’ you’ll move further away from the person you are required to be.
If you’re being that person you’ll take the action which will motivate you to do what is necessary to bring you closer to the things you want.
